The album starts withbstray Heart which is comprised of the distinct parts, 1/The Reason And The Fear, 2/ The Stairwat And The Portal 3/ Find Me.
The reason And ThecFearvis an *instrumental which opens with wave sounds of the surf and acoustic guitar, before it is joined by a strong upfront bass from Tobor skeyboards then join the sound adding hypnotic textures to the sound, slowly building to a drum crescendo and a free flowing ascending synthesiser line then the guitar crashes in and the falls away to acoustic guitar as the second paart The stairway And The Portal begins and we get to hhear the wonderfulmvocals of Madeline Besson who has a remarkable voice really it has a great timbre and toneit irs clear and strong not overpowering but more than adequate for the role.
